Street Hockey

McVander Hockey's MISSION is to bring a super-fun STREET HOCKEY experience directly to the COMMUNITY. NO ICE, NO SKATING, and NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! McVander Hockey provides a fun and safe space where participants can learn about and explore the great game of hockey. Stickhandling at warp speed! Passes like lightning! Shots with laser precision! Our coaches will turbocharge your skills. Dangle through obstacles, thread passes and unleash wicked slapshots. Learn saucer passes, the spin-o-rama, and even create your own celly! Expect fast-paced scrimmages, overtime shootouts, and spectacular saves! STREET HOCKEY at its best! Public Speaking and Debate: Build Confidence and Communication Skills with Public Speaking Lessons! At Everlove Academy, our public speaking lessons are designed to empower young speakers and help them develop clear, persuasive communication skills. Japanese: Learn Japanese through food, song, games, art, and lots of repetition! Konnichiwa! Hello, I am Ayumi. After graduating from the Faculty of Education at Wakayama University Japan, I worked as a teacher at a public elementary school. (I have a Japanese teaching license for elementary, junior high, and high school). As a lifelong learner, I have a diploma of tea ceremony and enjoy wearing Kimono. I am very happy to promote Japanese culture and language to children. As a mother of three, born and raised in Japan, I came to the U.S. 5 years ago with my family, and I am also a Peter Kirk PTSA member with one kid currently at PK.

Hip Hop Dance: Get ready to groove with our Hip-Hop Dance Classes! Inspired by Hip- Hop and Pop dance, each session is packed with energetic warm-ups, stretching, and dynamic dance games to keep the fun going. Students will dive into a mix of isolation movements, progressions across the floor, and exciting choreography. They'll have the opportunity to express themselves creatively while collaborating with others and learning to work as a team!

Sculpt, Paint, Create: This season, young artists will dive into a world of 2D and 3D magic, exploring Warli-inspired art, Kusama clay flowers, pop-up paper arts, 3D fruit sculptures, vases, and bold tape art. Through painting, sculpting, and mixed media, they'll layer, experiment, and bring their stories to life—full of color, creativity, and joyful mess!

Basketball: B&B Training Solutions provides a wide variety of basketball training that is both fun and safe. We emphasize critical lessons in sports, such as teamwork, respect and sportsmanship. Our programs are designed to give each child a positive introduction into sports through a game-based and fundamental curriculum. All while fostering a lifelong love for an active, healthy lifestyle. Snapology: Brick Art and Design Lab: As your child learns about different types of art and the periods in which they were created, students will also be interpreting what they see and creating their own works of art out of LEGOâ bricks. In Snapology’s Brick Art and Design Lab class, children will draw inspiration and guidance from great works of art like Da Vinci’s “Mona Lisa,” Van Gogh’s “Starry Night,” Wright’s “Falling Water,” and so many more! By the end of the experience, your child will be able to not only share information about famous artists, art forms, and art movements, but create their own unique works of art that reach beyond the past and into the future.

Kirkland Arts Center: Intermediate Drawing from Imagination to Masterpiece  

This course is designed for young artists who want to deepen their drawing skills and explore new creative challenges. Students will focus on more advanced techniques such as dynamic figure drawing, perspective in complex scenes, and experimenting with different art styles. Throughout the course, students will have the opportunity to refine their skills, work with mixed media, and learn to express their unique artistic voice. By the end of this course, students will have a diverse portfolio showcasing their ability to tackle complex subjects, dynamic compositions, and personal artistic expression.
