At Peter Kirk Elementary, our Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) is more than just a group—it's a vibrant community dedicated to enhancing the educational experience for every student. As a non-profit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, we are driven by our mission to build partnerships, support our teachers and staff, and enrich the lives of our students, families, and educators.

Why Join the PTSA?

  • Support and Advocacy: As part of the PTSA, you join the largest child advocacy network in the U.S. Our collective voice is stronger, enabling us to advocate more effectively for educational, health, and safety issues in the Washington State Legislature.

  • Community Building: Meet New People by accessing the Membership Directory to contact your child's new friend for a playdate. Build meaningful connections and relationships with Peter Kirk teachers, staff and other families through volunteerism for PTSA programs and events.

  • Voice & Vote: Vote at our Membership Meetings on agenda items such as our PTSA's Mission & Goals, Standing Rules, Budget and Election of the Executive Committee.

  • Families: $25

  • Individuals: $15

  • Teachers: $11

By joining the Peter Kirk Elementary PTSA, you are also a member of the National and Washington State PTA.

Our membership dues cover the cost of the Washington State and National PTA and help offset some administrative costs. PTSA programs at Peter Kirk Elementary are made possible through fundraising efforts, not membership dues.
