The Peter Kirk PTSA is excited to provide engaging after school activities located right at Kirk assoon as the school day ends! We partner with local organizations as well as Peter Kirk parentsto offer opportunities for students to explore various arts, languages, STEM, sports, and morethrough these programs. If you have questions about the before and after school program or areinterested in running a parent-led class, please don't hesitate to reach out to the Kirk PTSAenrichment chairs: BASP@PeterKirkPTSA.org.
- Sessions are typically around 10 weeks.
- A parent chaperone is required for each class to ensure there are two adults present at
all times and that students are where they are supposed to be and safe.
- Chaperones must be PTSA members and approved LWSD volunteers.
- Tuition is free for the student of each chaperone.
- Registration is done online through 6crickets.

Chess Club with Grand Knights Chess Academy
Be excited for engaging lessons, tournament rounds, awards and prizes, and more! Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned tournament player, join us. Bring your desire to learn and have fun!

Drama: Broadway Musical with Studio East
Learn the skills it takes to be a Broadway performer in this class where we’ll learn singing, acting, and dancing techniques. Then we’ll choose a mini-Broadway musical to rehearse and prepare for a presentation on the final day of class. Past favorites have included Beauty & the Beast, The Wizard of Oz, and Newsies.

Pokémon After School Club is a setting for kids who share a passion for Pokémon and who would like to learn and play that Battle game with existing and new friends. At Pokémon Club, kids can hone their math, reading, and critical thinking skills, while also partaking in Pokémon themed activities, arts and crafts, and card trading in a supervised and safe environment.

Basketball with B&B Training Solutions
B&B Training Solutions provides a wide variety of basketball training that is both fun and safe. We emphasize critical lessons in sports, such as teamwork, respect and sportsmanship. Our programs are designed to give each child a positive introduction into sports through a game-based and fundamental curriculum. All while fostering a lifelong love for an active, healthy lifestyle. Players of any level are welcome! Coach Brandon brings years of experience and success across multiple levels of play, including Seattle Pacific University and Professionally in the Euro League.

Responsive Robotics with Snapology
In this challenge-focused program, students will begin to develop their computational thinking skills by playing with modular, robotic cubes known as Cubelets®! Every way your student snaps the magnetic cubes together creates a unique robot, but what really matters is how they figure out the perfect robot recipe to solve a challenge. Students work in small teams to figure out how to create energy-efficient lighthouses, racer bots, maze-solvers, goofy animals, and so much more!

Spanish Immersion with ParisAcademy
Join us in a bilingual, multicultural education which opens doors and minds to the world. PANW offers immersion classes for students who wish to get a head-start before high school and have fun while learning a language. Lessons are constructed around total physical response activities, songs, games, crafts, and culture!

Our GOAL is to provide exceptional youth soccer enrichment programs that promote an active
lifestyle, build confidence, and teach values that can be used on and off the field. Every session is packed full of fun and game-based activities that teach your students soccer fundamentals and leave them wanting more.

Sculpt, Paint, Sketch, Draw II with Creart Studioz
Young artists will be sketching intricate sea creatures, experimenting with watercolors, and crafting mesmerizing Pop Art cubes that play with optical illusions. We’ll also venture into the world of comic portraits and create charming heart wreaths. Using chalk and oil pastel techniques, we’ll paint vibrant hippie buses and explore the world of charcoal window scenes. To add a tactile element, we’ll craft clay fish tacos and collaborate on an engaging group abstract harmony project. Join us for a season brimming with art, imagination, and boundless fun!

Learn Japanese through food, song, games, art and lots of repetition! Konnichiwa! Hello, I am
Ayumi. After graduating from the Faculty of Education at Wakayama University Japan, I worked as a teacher at a public elementary school. (Japanese teaching license for elementary, junior high and high school.) As a lifelong learner, I have a diploma of tea ceremony and enjoy wearing Kimono. I am very happy to promote Japanese culture and language to children. I am a mother of three, born and raised in Japan and came to the US 5 years ago with my family. I am also a member of the Peter Kirk PTSA with one kid (currently) at PK.
