the outstanding volunteers, teachers and staff

Golden Eagle

This is a Peter Kirk Elementary PTSA award that recognizes a teacher, staff member, or volunteer who has exhibited a beyond-the-call-of-duty attitude toward our children.

 

Golden Acorn

The Golden Acorn Award is presented in partnership with the Washington State PTSA in recognition of an individual's dedication and service to children and youth. Nominees should have volunteer experience at the local unit level, as well as in the community and/or with the school district. This award is just for volunteers. A contribution is made in the recipient's name to the Washington State PTA Scholarship Program that benefits students. 

 

Outstanding Educator

The Outstanding Educator Award is presented in partnership with the Washington State PTSA to an individual who has made significant contributions in their community to enhance the educational outcomes of all children or youth. An educator is not limited to a teacher and may be defined as a teacher, assistant, specialist, support staff, administrator or community member. A contribution is made in the recipient's name to the Washington State PTA Scholarship Program that benefits students.

 

Outstanding Advocate

Presented in partnership with the Washington State PTSA, this award was created to recognize an individual for his or her advocacy and commitment in helping to create strong policies relating to the health, welfare, safety and education of children and youth. This award can be given to a volunteer, teacher or staff member. A contribution is made in the recipient's name to the Washington State PTA Scholarship Program that benefits students.

 

Honorary Lifetime PTA Membership

The Honorary Life Membership Award recognizes an individual who has contributed significantly to the development, growth, and sustainability of a local PTA or council. It is awarded to someone who has shown extraordinary commitment to the PTA’s vision and mission. Recipients receive a certificate and pin, and a contribution is made in their name to the WSPTA Scholarship Program that benefits students.
