Want to get involved in PTSA?
We have volunteer opportunities for various commitment levels.
Director of Art
The Director of Art oversees our four art programs: Reflections, Art Docent Program, Clay Program, and Gallery Walk. Each program has its own committee; the Director’s role is to help coordinate and support the programs, with additional support from the VP of Enrichment.
No professional art experience required - all artistic skill levels are welcome! If you’re interested in learning more about the Director of Art position, email enrichment@
Math Challenge Committee Chair
Do you enjoy math, puzzles, or helping students get excited about problem-solving? We’re looking for a volunteer to chair our Math Challenge committee!
Math Challenge is a free, school-wide program that gives students fun and engaging math problems to work through at home throughout the year. Students can participate in as many challenges as they’d like, with recognition and a small prize for those who complete at least 10.
The Committee Chair helps coordinate the program for Peter Kirk, including communicating new challenges, reviewing and grading submitted worksheets, tracking participation, and coordinating end-of-year recognition.
Help encourage a spirit of service at Peter Kirk! We’re looking for a volunteer to chair our Eagles in Action committee.
Eagles in Action is a service-learning program that encourages all Peter Kirk students to give back by volunteering at school and in their community. Students submit their volunteer hours throughout the year and earn recognition after completing 10 hours of service.
The Committee Chair helps coordinate the program, including promoting volunteer opportunities, tracking submitted service hours, communicating with participating families, and coordinating student recognition.

LEGO Committee Members
Our annual LEGO Scavenger Hunt is one of our most-loved fall activities, and its success depends on volunteers to help sort and package LEGO kits. Interested in helping? Email stem@peterkirkptsa.org.
