Math Kangaroo at Peter Kirk Elementary!
PKE PTSA is excited to host the international Math Kangaroo competition for the first time in 2026! All PKE students that can read and work independently are encouraged to register. Math Kangaroo is an annual, international math challenge that uses a fun, multiple-choice format to encourage problem-solving and a love for math. Created by a global group of mathematicians, the test focuses on logical thinking, creativity and a combination of concepts rather than just rote memorization.
Location: Peter Kirk Elementary - specific location TBD
Date: March 19, 2026
Time: 3:45PM - 5:00PM (students will remain at school after dismissal and offered snack time prior to testing)
Fee: Early registration $18 (Sep15-Dec31) / Late registration $35 (Jan1-Feb1)
Steps to register:
- Go to: MATH KANGAROO REGISTRATION PAGE
- Log in with your login and password or establish your user account if you are new.
- Click on the tab By Invitation.
- Copy and paste this code in the field Invitation Code: WAKIRKL0010001@2026math
- Do not share the code with anyone

Important: After you receive the registration confirmation email from Math Kangaroo, review the email to make sure all information is accurate. If something needs correction, update the registration or email info@mathkangaroo.org.
