GALLERY WALK

Celebrating a year of art at Peter Kirk

Each spring, Peter Kirk is transformed into a school-wide art gallery showcasing the creativity of our students! Gallery Walk is the culminating celebration of Peter Kirk's Art Program, bringing together artwork created by students throughout the school year for families and our school community to enjoy.

Art everywhere!

Hallways, common spaces and classrooms become gallery walls filled with student artwork from kindergarten through 5th grade. With more than 1,200 pieces of student artwork on display, Gallery Walk gives families the chance to see not only their own student's creations, but the incredible variety of projects, artists, techniques and materials explored across every grade level.

And it isn't just what's hanging on the walls! Our Gallery Walk also showcases hundreds of ceramic pieces created through Peter Kirk's Clay Program, giving students a chance to proudly display their three-dimensional artwork alongside their classroom art.

A CELEBRATION OF OUR STUDENT ARTISTS

Gallery Walk isn't a competition -- it's a celebration. Every student is an artist, and Gallery Walk gives our students the experience of seeing their work displayed and celebrated as part of a real art exhibition. It's also a chance for families to see what Peter Kirk's volunteer-powered Art Program makes possible throughout our entire school year.
